We offer five 2 bedroom and two 3 bedroom, self catering cottages.
All cottages are unique in design but they all have: - A fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge, all cooking utensils and cutlery, coffee machine and toaster. A microwave is available on request.
- Living and dining area (some have a pull out couch)
- All bedding is supplied (if you wish to bring your own sheets etc, it would be helpful if you could let us know in advance).
- Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.
- Thermostatic heater for those chilly spring and fall mornings.
- TV and DVD player is available on request. Well stocked DVD rental store available in Hastings.
The only thing you need to bring is personal towels (oh, and maybe some food!).
There is an on-site laundry with a large capacity washing machine and dryer. Washing lines are available outside every cottage should you wish to air dry.
We have a children’s play area, sandy beach (with sand toys) and safe swimming from the beach or dock.
Free use of canoe and paddleboats.
Jigsaw puzzles, packs of cards, board games and books are available for rainy, indoor days.
There are a variety of fish to be caught from the river which flows from Rice Lake (renowned for being the best lake in Southern Ontario for catching Walleye and Panfish spring, summer and fall).
Fishing Season starts the last Saturday in April and ends November 15th.

For your catch, there is a fish cleaning station and freezer storage.
All boat rentals include your first tank of gas, (gas available for subsequent use at local marina rates) life jackets and an emergency kit. Copies of the ‘Safe Boating Guide’ are available in each cottage. Currently you do not need a boaters licence but must complete a rental boat safety checklist to comply with the Competency of Operators Pleasure Craft Regulations.
